Hosea 12 · Grade 3
Keep Kindness and Justice
Read the Story
Ephraim feeds on wind, and chases the east wind. He continually multiplies lies. Chasing wind gets you nothing.
Hosea remembered Jacob. Indeed, he struggled with the angel, and prevailed; he wept, and made supplication to him. Jacob cried out for God's blessing.
Hosea called Israel: Therefore turn to your God. Keep kindness and justice, and wait continually for your God. But a merchant has dishonest scales in his hand. Ephraim said he was rich and had no sin. God reminded them that He was their God from the land of Egypt.
Memory Verse
“Therefore turn to your God. Keep kindness and justice, and wait continually for your God.”

- Some things can never satisfy. What do you chase that cannot fill you up?
