Hosea 1 · Grade 2
A Family with a Message
Read the Story
God spoke to a prophet named Hosea. God told Hosea to get married. Hosea married a woman named Gomer. They had three children: a son, a daughter, and another son.
God gave the children names with a message. God's people had turned away from Him. But God also made a promise. One day His people would be as many as the sand of the sea. They will be called children of the living God.
Memory Verse
“Yet the number of the children of Israel will be as the sand of the sea, which can’t be measured or counted; and it will come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’”
