A Steady Anchor

Name Date

Read the Story

God made a promise to Abraham. He said, I will bless you. Abraham waited patiently. Then he got what God promised.

God always tells the truth. He cannot lie. So his people can hope in him. Hope in God is like an anchor. It keeps a boat steady in the wind.

Memory Verse

“Thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.”
