Hebrews 13 · Grade 3
Doing Good and Sharing
Read the Story
Hebrews 13 begins, Let brotherly love continue. Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers. Some have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those who are in prison and those who are treated badly.
Be free from the love of money and be content with what you have. God has said he will never leave you or forsake you. So we can say, The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. Remember your leaders who spoke God’s word, and imitate their faith.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Through him, offer God a sacrifice of praise. Don’t forget to do good and to share, for God is pleased with such sacrifices. The letter ends by asking the God of peace to equip them to do his will.
Memory Verse
“But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”
