Hebrews 12 · Grade 2

Looking to Jesus

Name Date

Read the Story

Living for God is like running a race. Many people of faith went before us. We should put away things that slow us down. We keep our eyes on Jesus. He did not give up.

God is like a good father. He trains his children because he loves them. Training is hard at first. Later it gives peace. So God’s people should be thankful and worship God.

Memory Verse

“For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don’t grow weary, fainting in your souls.”

Hebrews 12:3 (WEB)
