Habakkuk 2 · Grade 3
Wait for It
Read the Story
Habakkuk stood at his watch to hear what God would say. Yahweh told him to write the vision plainly on tablets.
God said the vision is for the appointed time. Though it takes time, wait for it. It will surely come. The proud person is puffed up, but the righteous will live by faith.
God warned people who were proud and greedy. He also gave a promise. The earth will be filled with the knowledge of his glory, as the waters cover the sea. Yahweh is in his holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before him!
Memory Verse
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Yahweh’s glory, as the waters cover the sea.”
