Genesis 9 · Grade 2
The Rainbow
Read the Story
After the flood, God blessed Noah and his sons. He told them to have many children and fill the earth again.
God made a promise to Noah. God said there would never again be a flood to destroy the earth. A promise from God is called a covenant.
God gave a sign of His promise. He put a rainbow in the clouds. When we see a rainbow, we can remember that God always keeps His promises.
Memory Verse
“I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.”
