Genesis 18 · Grade 2
Nothing Is Too Hard for God
Read the Story
One hot day, Abraham was sitting at the door of his tent. He looked up and saw three men. Abraham ran to meet them. He gave them water to wash their feet and a good meal to eat.
The visitors were sent by God. One of them was the Lord Himself. He said that next year Sarah would have a son. Sarah was inside the tent listening. She laughed, because she was very old.
The Lord said, Why did Sarah laugh? Then he asked, Is anything too hard for Yahweh? Nothing is too hard for God! Later, Abraham prayed and asked God to be merciful to the people in the city of Sodom.
Memory Verse
“Is anything too hard for Yahweh? At the set time I will return to you, when the season comes around, and Sarah will have a son.””
