Galatians 2 · Grade 3

The Right Hand of Fellowship

Name Date

Read the Story

Paul went to Jerusalem with Barnabas and Titus. He shared the Good News he preached. The leaders James, Peter, and John saw God's grace in Paul. They gave Paul the right hand of fellowship. They asked him to remember the poor.

Later, Peter came to Antioch. At first he ate with Gentile believers. But then he got scared of what some people thought. He stopped eating with them. Paul spoke to Peter in front of everyone. He said Peter was not living by the truth.

Paul said people are not made right with God by keeping rules. They are made right by faith in Jesus. Christ lives in His people. He loved them and gave Himself for them.

Memory Verse

“For I through the law died to the law, that I might live to God.”
