The Mark

Name Date

Read the Story

Ezekiel saw a vision. A man wore linen clothes. He had a case for writing by his side.

God told him to go through the city. He put a mark on people who were sad about the wrong things being done. God kept the people with the mark safe. Ezekiel prayed to God for the people.

Memory Verse

Yahweh said to him, “Go through the middle of the city, through the middle of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”

For families: talk about these together.

  • How can you say sorry to God when you make a bad choice?
  • God sees everything people do. How can you choose to do right even when no one is watching?
