Ezekiel 44 · Grade 3
Faithful Priests
Read the Story
Ezekiel says the east gate was shut. God said it must stay shut, because the God of Israel had entered by it.
God's glory filled the temple again, and Ezekiel fell on his face. God told him to pay close attention to the rules for his house.
Some Levites had turned to idols, so they would only be helpers. But the priests from Zadok had stayed faithful. They would serve God and teach the people the difference between holy and common.
Memory Verse
“They shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.”
