I Am Not God

Name Date

Read the Story

The king of Tyre was wise. He was rich with gold and silver. But he became proud. He said he was a god.

God said the king was a man, not God. God brought the proud king down. God also promised His people a safe home. They would build houses and plant grapes.

Memory Verse

“By your wisdom and by your understanding you have gotten yourself riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasuries.”

Ezekiel 28:4 (WEB)

Take It Home

For families: talk about these together.

  • The ruler became proud of what God had given him. How can you thank God instead of bragging?
