Ezekiel 23 · Grade 3

Oholah and Oholibah

Name Date

Read the Story

God told Ezekiel a story about two sisters. Their names were Oholah and Oholibah. The first was Samaria. The second was Jerusalem.

Both sisters were God's. But they turned away from him. They put their trust in strong lands. They bowed to the idols of those lands.

Samaria fell first. Jerusalem saw it, but she did not learn. God said she had forgotten him. She cast him behind her back.

Memory Verse

“Their names were Oholah the elder, and Oholibah her sister. They became mine, and they bore sons and daughters. As for their names, Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem Oholibah.”
