Sigh Before Their Eyes

Name Date

Read the Story

God told Ezekiel to set his face toward Jerusalem and prophesy against the land. Judgment was coming because the people would not turn from their sins.

God told Ezekiel to sigh before the people with a broken heart. When they asked why, he would tell them about the news that was coming.

God also said the crown would be taken from Israel's prince. It would be no more until one came whose right it is. God would give it to him.

Memory Verse

“Therefore sigh, you son of man. You shall sigh before their eyes with a broken heart and with bitterness.
