Ezekiel 20 · Grade 3
For His Name's Sake
Read the Story
Some elders came to ask Yahweh a question. God told Ezekiel to remind them of their fathers' history.
God brought Israel out of Egypt into the wilderness. He gave them his statutes and his Sabbaths. The Sabbath was a sign that they belonged to him.
But the people rebelled again and again. Still God spared them for his name's sake. He promised to gather them and bring them into the covenant. On his holy mountain they would serve him.
Memory Verse
“Moreover also I gave them my Sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies them.”
