Ezekiel 14 · Grade 3
Turn From Your Idols
Read the Story
Some of the elders of Israel came and sat before Ezekiel. God told Ezekiel that these men had taken their idols into their heart.
God called the people to return and turn from their idols. He wanted them to stop going astray. He wanted them to be his people, and he would be their God.
God said that even if Noah, Daniel, and Job lived in a sinful land, they could save only themselves. But God promised a remnant would come out of Jerusalem.
Memory Verse
““Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Return, and turn yourselves from your idols! Turn away your faces from all your abominations.”
