Ezekiel 10: The Glory Moves to the Door

The vision continued. Ezekiel says he looked and saw above the cherubim something like a sapphire stone, like a throne. The man clothed in linen was told to take coals of fire from between the whirling wheels and scatter them over the city. Yahweh's glory rose from the cherub and stood over the threshold of the house, and the court was full of the brightness of Yahweh's glory. Ezekiel describes the cherubim again: four faces, four wings, hands under their wings, and wheels full of eyes, like a wheel within a wheel. He knew they were the same living creatures he had seen by the river Chebar. Then Yahweh's glory went out from the threshold and stood over the cherubim at the east gate of Yahweh's house.

Thank You, God, for making me!

Take It Home

Read the verse aloud. Say: Ezekiel saw God's glory fill the temple with a bright cloud. Then God's glory began to move away, because the people had turned from Him. God wants to be close to us. Let's thank God for wanting to be with us.
