Exodus 9 · Grade 2
Hail from the Sky
Read the Story
Pharaoh still would not obey. So God made the Egyptians' animals sick, and many died. But God's people's animals stayed healthy. Not one died!
Next, Moses threw ashes into the air. Painful sores called boils came on the Egyptians and their animals.
Then God sent a huge hailstorm with thunder and lightning. God warned the Egyptians to bring their animals inside. Some listened, and some did not. The hail broke trees and plants. But there was no hail where God's people lived. Pharaoh said, I have sinned, but when the hail stopped, he would not let them go.
Memory Verse
“Moses said to him, “As soon as I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands to Yahweh. The thunders shall cease, and there will not be any more hail; that you may know that the earth is Yahweh’s.”
