Giving Up for God

Name Date

Read and Think

The women gave their mirrors to make the washing basin. They gave up something they used every day for God's house. Giving to God sometimes means giving up something we like.

The altar stood near the gate. To come to God, people first came to the altar of sacrifice. The way to God has always been through sacrifice for sin.

Every gift was counted carefully. God's people should handle money for God's work honestly. In the New Testament, Jesus said that whoever is faithful in little is faithful in much (Luke 16:10).
