Exodus 11 · Grade 2
God Warns Pharaoh
Read the Story
God told Moses he would send one more plague. After that, Pharaoh would let them go. He would even push them out! God told His people to ask their Egyptian neighbors for gold and silver. God made the Egyptians kind to them, and they gave it.
Moses gave Pharaoh one last, very serious warning. He said that in the middle of the night, a great sadness would come to every Egyptian family. But God's people would be safe.
Moses had warned Pharaoh many times. God had been patient. But Pharaoh still would not listen. So Moses left Pharaoh, very upset.
Memory Verse
“But against any of the children of Israel a dog won’t even bark or move its tongue, against man or animal, that you may know that Yahweh makes a distinction between the Egyptians and Israel.”
