Deuteronomy 7 · Grade 2
Why God Chose Israel
Read the Story
God chose Israel to be His own people. Was it because they were big? No. They were few.
God chose them because He loved them. He kept His promise to their fathers. God is faithful. He keeps His promise to a thousand generations of people who love Him.
God told them to keep away from false gods. He said He would bless their grain and their flocks. He said, Do not be afraid. Remember what I did in Egypt. I am with you.
Memory Verse
“You shall not be scared of them; for Yahweh your God is among you, a great and awesome God.”
