Deuteronomy 6 · Grade 2

Love God Most

Name Date

Read the Story

Moses said, Hear, Israel. The Lord is our God. The Lord is one. Love Him with all your heart.

Keep God's words in your heart. Teach them to your children. Talk about them at home. Talk about them on the road. Talk about them at bed time and when you get up. Write them on your door.

God would give them a good land. It had homes and good food. Moses said, Do not forget God when you are full. One day a child will ask why we obey. Tell him God set us free from Egypt.

Memory Verse

“You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.”

For families: talk about these together.

  • Why should we talk about God all through the day?
