Deuteronomy 27 · Grade 2

Big Stones and Amen

Name Date

Read the Story

Moses said, When you cross the river, set up big stones. Cover them with white plaster. Write all of God's law on them so people can read it.

Build an altar of whole stones. Do not cut them with tools. Give offerings to God. Eat and be glad before God.

Six tribes will stand on one mountain to bless. Six tribes will stand on the other mountain. The Levites will call out God's rules. All the people will say, Amen. Amen means, Yes, this is true.

Memory Verse

“You shall sacrifice peace offerings, and shall eat there. You shall rejoice before Yahweh your God.”
