Deuteronomy 25 · Grade 2
Fair and Honest
Read the Story
God said, Let the ox eat while it works. When it walks on the grain, do not tie its mouth shut.
God also said, Do not keep two kinds of weights. Do not use a heavy one to buy and a light one to sell. That is cheating. Use true and fair weights.
Moses said, Remember Amalek. When you came out of Egypt, they attacked the tired people at the back. They hurt the weak. They did not fear God.
Memory Verse
“You shall have a perfect and just weight. You shall have a perfect and just measure, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.”
