Deuteronomy 23 · Grade 2
Say It and Do It
Read the Story
God said, The camp must be clean. I walk in the middle of your camp to keep you safe.
If a slave ran away from a cruel master and came to you, let him live with you. Do not send him back. If you lend money to your brother, do not ask for extra.
If you make a promise to God, keep it. You do not have to promise. But if you do, do what you said. In a neighbor's field you may eat some grapes. But do not fill a basket.
Memory Verse
“You shall observe and do that which has gone out of your lips. Whatever you have vowed to Yahweh your God as a free will offering, which you have promised with your mouth, you must do.”
