Deuteronomy 18 · Grade 2
God Will Send a Prophet
Read the Story
The Levites had no land. God was their gift. So the people shared food and wool with them.
God said, Do not do what the nations do. Do not ask fortune tellers or people who use magic. They are not from God.
Moses said, God will send you a prophet like me. God will put His words in his mouth. Listen to him. Later, Peter said Jesus is that prophet (Acts 3:22).
Memory Verse
“Yahweh your God will raise up to you a prophet from among you, of your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him.”
