Deuteronomy 13 · Grade 2
Do Not Follow False Gods
Read the Story
Moses said, Someone may say, Let's go pray to other gods. Do not listen to him. Even if he shows you a sign, do not listen.
It does not matter who says it. It could be a friend or someone in your family. Do not go with them. God wants you to love Him with all your heart.
Walk with God. Obey His voice. Serve Him. Hold on to Him. He is the God who brought you out of Egypt.
Memory Verse
“You shall walk after Yahweh your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice. You shall serve him, and cling to him.”
