Read the Story

Daniel read God's Word from Jeremiah the prophet. Then Daniel prayed to God. He did not eat. He told God that His people had sinned. He said that God is kind and forgives.

Daniel asked God to hear and to forgive. While Daniel was still praying, Gabriel came. Gabriel said he came to give Daniel wisdom. He told Daniel that he was greatly loved.
