Daniel 5 · Grade 2
A Hand Writes
Read the Story
King Belshazzar had a big party. He drank from gold cups that were taken from God's temple. The people praised gods made of gold and silver.
Then the fingers of a hand wrote on the wall! The king was scared. His wise men could not read the words. So Daniel came. Daniel said the king had not been humble before God. God had weighed him and found him wanting. That night the kingdom was given to Darius the Mede.
Memory Verse
“Then Daniel answered before the king, “Let your gifts be to yourself, and give your rewards to another. Nevertheless, I will read the writing to the king, and make known to him the interpretation.”
