Daniel 11 · Grade 4
Strong and Wise
Read and Think
Daniel 11 is a long message about the future. The messenger said three more kings would stand up in Persia, and then a mighty king would rule with great dominion. His kingdom would be divided toward the four winds. Then a king of the south and a king of the north would struggle for many years.
At one point, both kings would speak lies at one table; but it won't prosper. A proud king would rise. He would exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and speak marvelous things against the God of gods.
In those times, God's people would face hard days. Yet the people who know their God will be strong and take action. Those who are wise among the people will instruct many. Some would suffer, but their faith would be refined. In the end, the proud king will come to his end, and no one will help him.
