An angel told Daniel about kings in the future. Some kings would be from the south. Some would be from the north. They would fight for a long time.

One king would be very proud. But God's people would have hard times and stay faithful. The people who know their God will be strong. Wise people would teach many others. In the end, the proud king would come to his end.
