Daniel 10 · Grade 3
Your Words Were Heard
Read the Story
For three whole weeks, Daniel mourned. He ate no pleasant food. Then, by the great river, he saw a man clothed in linen. His face was like lightning, and his eyes like flaming torches. The men with Daniel ran to hide.
Daniel was left alone, and no strength remained in him. Then a hand touched him and set him on his knees. The man said, Don't be afraid, Daniel. He said that from the first day Daniel set his heart to understand, his words were heard.
Daniel still felt weak. The man touched him again and strengthened him. He said, Greatly beloved man, don't be afraid. Peace be to you. Be strong. When he spoke, Daniel was strengthened.
Memory Verse
“Then he said to me, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel; for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. I have come for your words’ sake.”
