Daniel 1 · Grade 2
Daniel Chooses to Obey
Read the Story
A king named Nebuchadnezzar took some young men from Judah to his land. Daniel and his three friends were with them. The king gave them his own rich food and wine.
Daniel wanted to obey God. He asked for a test of ten days. He asked for vegetables to eat and water to drink. At the end of ten days, their faces looked better than the faces of the other young men. God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom.
Memory Verse
“Now as for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.”
