Victory Wherever He Went

Name Date

Read the Story

After God's promise, David won battles against many enemies. He beat the Philistines and Moab. He beat the king of Zobah. The Syrians came to help, but they lost too. The Bible says the Lord gave victory to David wherever he went.

Toi king of Hamath sent his son with gifts. He brought silver, gold, and bronze. David gave these gifts to the Lord. He also gave God the silver and gold he took in battle.

David reigned over all Israel. He did what was just and right for all his people. Joab led the army. Jehoshaphat kept the records. Zadok and Ahimelech were priests.

Memory Verse

“David reigned over all Israel; and David executed justice and righteousness for all his people.”
