David Does Wrong

Name Date

Read the Story

It was time for war. David sent his army out. But David stayed home.

David wanted another man's wife. Her name was Bathsheba. Her husband was Uriah. He was a soldier. David took her to his house. That was wrong.

Uriah was faithful. He slept at the king's door with the servants. Then David sent Uriah to the hardest battle. Uriah died there. David married Bathsheba. But God was not pleased with what David did.

Memory Verse

“But Uriah slept at the door of the king’s house with all the servants of his lord, and didn’t go down to his house.”
