2 Kings 23 · Grade 2
Josiah Cleans Up
Read the Story
King Josiah called all the people together. He read God's book to them. They made a promise to obey God with all their hearts.
Josiah took every idol out of God's house. He burned them. He broke down the places where people worshiped false gods.
Then the people kept the Passover. There had not been one like it in a long time. No king loved God with all his heart like Josiah.
Memory Verse
“There was no king like him before him, who turned to Yahweh with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; and there was none like him who arose after him.”
