2 Kings 19 · Grade 2
Hezekiah Prays
Read the Story
The king of Assyria sent a mean letter. It said God could not save Jerusalem. Hezekiah took the letter to God's house.
He spread it out before the Lord. He asked God to save them. He asked God to show all the kingdoms that He alone is God.
God sent His prophet Isaiah. Isaiah said God heard the prayer. That night God sent His angel. The enemy army went home. God saved the city.
Memory Verse
“Now therefore, Yahweh our God, save us, I beg you, out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, Yahweh, are God alone.””
