2 Kings 18 · Grade 2
A King Who Trusted
Read the Story
Hezekiah was a good king. He trusted God more than any other king of Judah. He broke idols. He kept God's laws.
A big army came from Assyria. Their leader shouted mean words. He said Hezekiah could not save them. He said God could not save them either.
The king told the people not to answer. The people were quiet. They did not answer the mean man. Hezekiah trusted God to help.
Memory Verse
“He trusted in Yahweh, the God of Israel, so that after him was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among them that were before him.”
