Kings Come and Go

Name Date

Read the Story

Azariah was king of Judah. He did right. Later he got a skin sickness. He lived in a house by himself. His son Jotham helped rule.

In Israel, kings came and went fast. One king ruled only six months. Another ruled only one month. Many did not follow God.

Jotham became king of Judah. He did right too. He built the upper gate of God's house. God was pleased when kings did right.

Memory Verse

“He did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes, according to all that his father Amaziah had done.”
