2 Corinthians 7 · Grade 3
Comfort Through Titus
Read the Story
Paul asked the believers to live clean and holy lives. He asked them to open their hearts to him. He loved them very much.
When Paul came to Macedonia, he had troubles all around. But God, who comforts the lowly, comforted Paul when Titus arrived. Titus told Paul how much the Corinthians cared about him.
Paul's letter had made them sad for a while. But their sadness led them to change. Paul wrote, For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, which brings no regret. Paul was glad, and Titus was glad too.
Memory Verse
“For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death.”
