2 Corinthians 4 · Grade 3
Do Not Lose Heart
Read the Story
Paul said he would not give up. He told the truth about Jesus openly. He did not preach about himself. He preached Jesus Christ as Lord.
God once said that light would shine out of darkness. In the same way, God shines in people's hearts so they can know Jesus. Paul said, But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.
Paul had troubles on every side, but he was not crushed. He was knocked down, but not destroyed. His body was getting weaker, but inside he was made new day by day. He looked at things that last forever.
Memory Verse
“But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.”
