The Lost Book

Name Date

Read the Story

Josiah was only eight when he became king. He did what was right. He did not turn away from God.

Workers fixed God's house. A priest found a book. It was God's book! Someone read it to the king.

Josiah was sad. The people had not obeyed God's book. He said sorry to God. Then he read the book to everyone. They all promised to obey God.

Memory Verse

“He did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes, and walked in the ways of David his father, and didn’t turn away to the right hand or to the left.”
