2 Chronicles 25 · Grade 2
A Half Heart
Read the Story
Amaziah was king. He did good things. But he did not love God with all his heart.
He paid soldiers from Israel to help him. A man of God said, Send them home. God is not with them. The king asked about his money. The man said God could give him much more.
The king obeyed. God helped him win. But later he bowed to fake gods. He did not listen to God's helper. He stopped listening to God.
Memory Verse
“He did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes, but not with a perfect heart.”
