A Light That Stays

Name Date

Read the Story

Jehoram became king. He did not obey God. He did bad things.

But God had made a promise to David. God said David's family would have a light always. So God kept His promise.

The prophet Elijah sent the king a letter. It said, Turn back to God. But Jehoram did not listen. He was a sad king.

Memory Verse

“However Yahweh would not destroy David’s house, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a lamp to him and to his children always.”
