2 Chronicles 18 · Grade 3
As Yahweh Lives
Read the Story
Jehoshaphat joined himself with Ahab king of Israel. Ahab asked him to go to battle at Ramoth Gilead. Jehoshaphat asked him to ask for Yahweh's word first.
Ahab's four hundred prophets told him to go up. They said God would give it to him. Jehoshaphat asked if there was a prophet of Yahweh. Ahab said there was Micaiah, but he hated him. Micaiah never said good about him. Micaiah promised to say only what his God says.
Micaiah said he saw Israel scattered like sheep with no shepherd. Ahab went to battle anyway in a disguise. Ahab did not come home. Jehoshaphat cried out, and Yahweh helped him.
Memory Verse
