Micaiah Tells the Truth

Name Date

Read the Story

Two kings wanted to go to battle. One was Jehoshaphat. The other was Ahab. Jehoshaphat said, Ask God first.

Many prophets told Ahab what he wanted to hear. But Micaiah said he would say what God says. He said the battle would go badly.

Ahab did not listen. He did not come home. Jehoshaphat cried out to God. God kept him safe.

Memory Verse

Micaiah said, “As Yahweh lives, I will say what my God says.”
