2 Chronicles 16 · Grade 2
Who Do You Trust?
Read the Story
A king came to fight Asa. This time Asa did not pray. He paid another king to help him.
God sent a prophet. He said Asa trusted a king, not God. God sees the whole earth. He helps people who love Him.
Asa was angry. He did not listen. Later he got sick. He still did not ask God for help.
Memory Verse
“For Yahweh’s eyes run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. You have done foolishly in this; for from now on you will have wars.””
