1 Samuel 30 · Grade 2
All Brought Back
Read the Story
David and his men came home to Ziklag. The town was burned! Raiders had taken their wives and children. The men cried until they could not cry any more.
The men were angry with David. But David found strength in God. He asked God what to do. God told him to go after them. He would get them all back.
On the way they found a man in a field. He was very hungry. They gave him bread and water. He showed them where the raiders were. David fought the raiders and got everyone back. Nothing was missing.
Memory Verse
“David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken, and David rescued his two wives.”
