Read the Story

Saul wanted to hurt David. But Jonathan loved David. He told his father that David had done good. Saul listened. He said David would not be hurt.

Later Saul threw a spear at David again. David got away. Saul sent men to David's house. Michal was David's wife. She helped David climb down through a window.

Michal put something in the bed so it looked like David. The men came, but David was gone. David went to Samuel. God kept David safe.
