Name Date

Read the Story

Samuel took a jar of oil. He poured it on Saul's head. He kissed him. He said God chose Saul to lead His people.

Samuel told Saul what would happen on the way home. Men would give him two loaves of bread. All of it came true. God gave Saul another heart.

Later all the people met. God showed that Saul was the one. But Saul was hiding by the baggage! They brought him out. He was taller than everyone. The people shouted, Long live the king!

Memory Verse

“It was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart; and all those signs happened that day.”
